Thank you for your interest in the Fans Across America Assist-A-Family program. Being part of the Fans Across America Assist-A-Family community does not guarantee that the family will receive assistance, which is dependent upon tax-deductible contributions from the Fans Across America community as well as the family and friends of the designated family. In order to improve the contribution rate, the family’s Assist-A-Family page on the Fans Across America website should be continually shared by email and on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and CaringBridge. Fans Across America will assign a volunteer “Coach,” who will help the family establish the appropriate web pages, try to secure sponsors for the page and continually share the family’s story with our members, supporters and online networks.
Contributions made through the designated “Donation” link on the family’s Assist-A-Family page receive a unique reference code (usually the family’s name) and are designated exclusively to that family. Ninety-two percent (92%) of the contributions made to the designated family go to fulfill the family’s requested needs. The balance of the donation (8%) covers credit card transaction fees and helps ensure that Fans Across America can continue to help families like yours.
Families can be featured on the site for up to six months. At which point, additional time can be requested and approved at the Foundation’s discretion.
Please complete this online application, which will take you through a series of questions and web pages. Before you begin the application, please be sure to have your doctor and social worker's contact information available and also be prepared to share your family's story and why you would like to be part of the Assist-A-Family community. Once completed, our all volunteer organization will review your application and determine if we will be able to assist.
Thank you again for your interest in the Fans Across America Assist-A-Family program.
